A pouch. Yes, a pouch!

Another custom order. A Maori/Pacifica feel was requested.

So here we have the New Zealand Silver Fern, koru (the swirls, symbolize new life and growth) and some paua (abalone).

That's it ! I am off for a 4 day weekend to "Wellywood", our windy capital city for the annual Playcentre Conference. 6 of us are going. I have bought special outfits. Not sure how impressed the gals are going to be....

Jo I was looking back at your old posts the other day and I'm wondering if you ever did that class with Judith Baker Montano? PS Pouch is very classy

That is very serene looking to me and I love the abalone pieces and try to find unusual shapes to make "Angels" for my CQing.

Way to go girl, you dress for yourself and you never know, if you feel good then maybe others will see that too and like your new outfits too. Hope you enjoyed your conference.

Hi Jo in NZ, I'm Judy in South Australia. I saw your Blog through the Zentangle site. I've put you on my Drawing Blogspot, and will come back often to look. You seem a bit like me, and LOVE Everything, and Do Everything!!!I adore doing Zentangles, and do them at night as I just can't fit them in during the day.I'm experimenting with Zentangled things fused to fabric.
