Third Generation Gone Crazy at the show!

Well, here we are at the show. Nana, me and Mum.

Here is Nana in front of her monster of a quilt. Blue ribbon for best hand applique.Makes mine look like a wallhanging!! I didn't get a pic of mum with her quilt, to busy catching up with an old friend.
And here is a pic of other people looking at my quilt. There were many comments about the quilt. Many comments about "I can't believe it didn't win a ribbon" and this was before they knew I was the maker. I am not put out about it not winning, but mum is on a mission...if it keeps her happy.
I  was a bit miffed that my bag didn't pick anything up, but i guess I can put it down to the judges lack of taste perhaps?? lol.
I know I opened many peoples eyes to Crazy quilting, and I hope to continue to do that in future years and shows.

Oh, so nice to see the three of you!! What a bummer that your quilt didn't win! No taste whatsoever, I agree! Your Nana's quilt is a stunner, goodness, it's really something else... your talent is definitely inherited. Do you have a piccie of your Mum's?

Very glad to see your quilt hanging at a show and being an ambassador for Cqing! I can't believe it didn't win a ribbon either! What a great experience, though, 3 generations of quilters in one show. Congrats to Nana.

Jo, I CANNOT believe your quilt did not win anything!!! What is wrong with those people??? Sheer ignorance can only explain it. That quilt is fantastic, gorgeous, amazing...need I add more adjectives??? How could someone look at that and not be moved?
Well, you win in our eyes, that's for sure.
And Nana's quilt?? OMG!!! One of the most beautiful works of art I've ever seen!
