Tatting
This may not be particulary news worthy, but I have mastered the tatting (simple stuff that it). I KNOW it's not perfect, but I am happy with it, and it will be going on a block in the near future.
First is a medallion, which actually got worse as I got to the end, and then a basic edging. I didn't follow any patterns, as tatting patterns rate as one of the most confusing, along with knitting and crochet.
The last pic is of my dolls hanging above my sewing chair.

Jo definitely news worthy!!! GREAT job!!!!! I remember how thrilled I was when I did my first tatting! Keep it up! I love the gold clover motif, I may have to make something like that too! I think the clovers are my favorite tatting look.

Jo, your tats are lovely, one of these days I may give it a try, too.
Cool - you should be proud. You sound like me - perfection is not my goal, and neither is the shuttle. I love needle tatting! Yours looks great, and I don't see anything at all wrong with them!
These look wonderful to me! Needle tatting? I love the color of the thread you used, too.
Lovely tats!Wow!!
Jo, the tatting looks great to me! I have no idea how to do it. Your dolls are also fabulous!
I like tatting but how you do it? I should like to try!
Lovely tatting Jo. I must take mine out again.
Those spiriti dolls are wonderful.
Your tatting looks awesome! That's one thing I've been meaning to learn - did you teach yourself (any resourses)?
