More sampler progress

I've added a couple more borders, and this weeks focus is points, so I have started on those.
I particularly like the stepped, woven running stitch that has the scalloped edge. I did this by dropping every secnd stitch,on the botton row. I like! It has a celtic look to it.
Here are two examples of woven herringbone. The top one was stitched with a yarn and woven with green perle 5 . I added detached chain, sequins and french knots.
The botton one was stitched was stitched with the perle and woven with the yarn. ( I think you saw this last post)

I am really enjoying the stitches your doing, wish I was able to take the class, but will gleam from your examples, I really love the smock look, the weaving is cool. Nice work Jo.

Jo, I love the scalloped edge, too! The whole sampler is progressing so nicely; it captures my attention. I like that cute little butterfly at the end of row three.

Jo, I just love what you have done on your sampler, Where do you get the time to accomplish all that you do?

I love that scalloppy looking row also. It's very feminine. You seem to be enjoying this class a lot!
