This is what I have achieved today, along with a hair cut, visit to the bank, and a visit from DSD (dear step daughter). I did actually sleep last night, and I'm feeling reasonably calm tonight, but I'm not ready for bed yet...

Have you ever thought about selling plain blocks?
I hadn't actually E, but you have given me something else to think about. I guess my stlye is different from other blocks that I have seen for sale, because I stick with the same colourway. And , although I have been branching out and adding colour, I really do prefer this look.
Thanks for the idea.
Well if you do, let me know coz I really like the way you set them out and the use of the same colourway ;)
Would you think me a horrible person if I tried laying out some blocks the way you do? They seem to end up with strange little bits in corners and things otherwise, and I need to find a way to cure it!
Go for it hon. These did turn out well. I'm not sure why, I usually end up with funky bits in corners too. I think the thing I did different this time was start with the pentagon well off centre. And I treid to stick with going clock wise or antiCW, i normally just go all over.
Perhaps i just need to get some cottons and try with those? Learning to piece well with slippery fabrics can't be a good plan! Thanks for the advice!
