needle case swap
I received my needlecase from the CQforNewbies swap. Here are the piccies of what I got. I have to say, I LOVE it. I really , really do!!! It is so nice to receive something that is made up, completed and ready to use. JK is the creator of this piece. She is one gutsy, hilariously funny lady, and I feel very blessed to own something that she has made. Thanks Charlene for organising the swap.
I am really looking forward to the oriental bag swap now.

Hi Jo, I was delighted that you visited my blog. And how can I not help but want to encourage you to learn to spin! After all, some of the finest spinning wheels in the world are produced in NZ.
That said, I must say that your embroidery is absolutely beautiful. You might not be able to tear yourself away from it to learn a new craft :)
wow this is just beautiful
It tickles me to look at it enlarged.
What a wonderful swap you girls have going !
Hello, I'll leave a comment here for your question--yes, I am embellishing a whole quilt. 30- 12" blocks--why? They were meant for another project and when the 100 Details started I had them ready to go so decided to use them as practice blocks. By the time I am done I will have lots of practice! LOL! but seriously, I think it should be one interesting quilt. Stop by anytime for a look.
I do have to twist and turn but the majority of the quilt stays in one place and I just twist the section/block I am working on. I am sure it would be easier to do in sections than as a big piece. One advantage I saw yesterday was that I was overlapping into blocks at the edge so it my piece might not look so "blocky" when done but more as an overall look.
I am sure by the time I get to the middle, it will be heavy. Hopefully, the part I have finished won't be worn out and falling off!
Hi, Jo. Thanks for your visit to my blog. Did you try to use that link I put for google's translate? I don't write in english too because I don't write very well but I read everything. I follow your blog too and I like it very much.
