I wanted to say a quick "hi" to those of you that may be dropping by for the first time, and to those of you that havent been by for a while, because, well frankly, there's been nothing to see!!
I was quite overwhelmed to read the wonderful things that Gerry said about my work on her "blocktalk" post. The CQ community is a fantastic one to belong to, and I do still feel like I belong, even if just on the fringes.
I am more than happy to answer any questions about my work, and offer any advice. Just email or comment :)
I am going to be cheeky and tell you that I have just 7 copies of my little "inspiration" book left over at my ETSY shop.
Thanks again Gerry. I really appreciate your words.

HI JO, it's noce to see you posting. It's not always about what there is to SEE!
Take care.
OOOOPPPPPSSSS - It's NICE to see you....(can't spell today). :-)
Hi Jo! We've missed you on here. Glad to see you're doing well and busy. Hugs.
Jo,
I am a fan of Gerry's and fairly new to crazy quilting. As you know Gerry is very helpful with showing what can be done to help improve a block. I have been lucky enough to have her advise me. I asked her once to show us some blocks that she considered the best or where the stitcher did everything right. You were the stitcher featured today. I studied the blocks and read the post. When I got to the part where Gerry said you were color blind....tears came to my eyes. I left a comment to Gerry, that some would have used that as an excuse not to be creative. I applaud you for following your heart and creating your lovely needlework. You are an inspiration to me and I am sure many others.

I visited your etsy shop and the Bahamas Pedestal Pincushion is lovely!

Jo,
I am working on a block for an "Encrusted CQ" class with Sharon B. Today I began stitching a paisley motif, so I read with interest that tutorial you did. You mention Press n Seal....is that the sealable plastic wrap they sell in the grocery store?

Well Ms Jo! I knew you were out there somewhere! Nice to see you chat it up a bit ... and know how it goes when that li'l old muse seems to disappear!
I've gone through that spell where there just doesn't seem to be anything that inspires to stitch ... I focused on beady things ... while you became enamoured with Zentangles & Doodles ... simply energy turned to a different medium ... and there's not a darned thing wrong with that ... especially when you're good at it!
Create what you feel inspired to create ... and never feel any the less for it! Talent cannot be confined.
We all love your talented mind ...
whatever medium you choose to share!
Hugs ... Marie
