Photo Fest

just a whole lotta pics today of the bag I am working on. Pieced from Hand-dyed cottons and tatting. All stitching, bar a tiny bit of black, is done in the Sassa Lynne perle cottons. All silk ribbon is hand dyed by myself or Pat Winter.

Just have the handles to finish. The 'pointy up' one will be long (shoulder length) , and the 'hooky over' one will stay as it is. It has turned out just as I hoped. It is lovely and big. I struggled a little with the lining as the embellishment had shrunk the sized from the original template, but alls well that ends well. Off to do some some other finishing now on ornies.

I love the use of the doilies. The bullion daisies look great, too. Very pretty bag, all the way around. And green, my favorite! LOL!

Oh, Jo... this is so, so beautiful! The sense of movement you get with the tatting just makes your eye sweep around the bag. It's got just the right amount of embellishment. You did good! ;0)
