Chrissy cards and November giveaway

Here are a couple of chrissy postcards. I did a tute up for the CQI newsletter for christmas ideas. The newsletter is not published yet, so this is a sneak peak for the group members that swing by here.

These are nice simple designs, but very nice substitue for a hallmark crissy card.

NOVEMBER GIVEAWAY
This is the postcard for the this months giveaway (still needs a backing). Leave a comment on this post. It doesn't have to be about anything in particular ( I think many feel they have to say somethign complimentry. Nice but not necessary), just say "hi" I will draw this NEXT week (I let this drag on to long every month).
I am planning something a bit special for the December giveaway. It would be nice if y'all did too. Spirit of giving etc. Which reminds me to email the wonderful Ms Kellogg and thank her for the gifty that turned up here today. Thanks Pam. Big Hugs!

I am feeling particularly pleased with myself as I have complete 2 assignments this week, and another well on the way. This course has been dragging on for 4 1/2years now. Enough already!

LOL! Your comment about leaving comments made me chuckle...I almost feel awkward saying something nice, LOL! What if I WANT to say something nice??? LOL. ;)

"...something complimentary. Nice but not necessary."

There. I said it anyway!

You're hilarious, Jo. I like the postcard - it's pretty. I like the Christmas Cards, too - especially the top one, with the tree that looks somewhat ribbonish. Grand idea.

I used one of your questions for my November stash giveaway, Jo, so hussle over there and answer it! And I'm planning something special for my December giveaway, too, for the exact the same reason.

By the way, you'll be happy to know (or maybe you'll think I'm an idiot!) that I purchased a book on crazy quilting yesterday. I find I can figure things out better if I sit down and read a book about it. I'm kind of excited bout it.

Ok. That's longer than "Hi."

Hi. Bye.

MC

I puzzled and puzzled about what a chrissy card was until it finally struck me. DUH!!! Glad I didn't email you to ask what it was or I really would have felt stupid!
Anyhooo....beautiful cards :)

I really like your Christmas cards! They are so nice. I am curious about how you finish the card and add the backing?

Thanks, Tina

I really love your Christmas card ideas. So simple, and yet so effective. I love the bottom seam on your purple postcard, too. I will have to try that on a mom's block!
