arghhh...
Having a Black CQ border crisis. I have until Sunday to get this quilt together, minus binding..THAT"S THREE DAYS PEOPLE!!
I did the border, as my mother suggested. Her exact words being, " I am a quilter, trust me". Well it doesn't look bad, but it certainly doesn't add anything to the quilt either, so they are coming off, and I am starting again.
no pics this time, but I will give you a blow by blow account when its all done and dusted .
Off to unpick.......

If it doesn't look bad, then why waste precious time in unpicking it? Move on to someething else. You have no time to lose.....
Oh, Elizabeth, all will be revealed in time. You know how you said it was getting easier on the eye...well, I managed to completely screw that up !! It has to go... I am just sewing completely new borders on.
Oh, damn... good luck on making the second one work! I know you will come up with a brilliant solution.
Sometimes if I put something out of site for a few days then look at it again, it makes a big difference? Luck and HUGZ:)
