block #11 humming bird
Thread painting is not one of my skills, but this little fellew turned out just fine. For motifs like this, I draw my design on baking paper, then stitch over it, pulling the paper out when I have done all the outlining etc. It can be a delicate job, but a pair of tweezers and a couple of minutes patience does the job.
