Block #10 and challenge winner

I have completed another block ( except for one small seam I just noticed...). I don't think I will be coming back to this one - famous last words. I am fairly set on the elements I want in each block, keeping going is the thing.

The challenge I posted last week - what is the consistent element present in every block.
HUGE APOLOGIES!! I got my Kate's wrong! You must think I am mad.
Kate, got it right, the light blue (turquiose) french knots scattered around the blocks on seam treatments. Congrats Kate, a postcard is on it's way to you soon. Go and check out Kate's blog, she has been working on Sharons TAST challenge.

Wow, it's really cool that you can do all of this hand embroidery - I hope someday to be able to do it - I love the work on the black background and the little bugs are so cute too! I wouldn't have had a chance at winning! I don't know one stitch from another! Ha ha! Em

I love your color choices. The dark background really makes the thread colors pop. Don't know why I didn't think of it myself!

That explains everything - I meant to ask you why you wanted my address (which you are welcome to have if you like, LOL) but then I forgot anyway... That's the second time in the past few weeks I've been confused with another Kate - maybe time to change my name to something more exotic? :)

JO I especially love your large bold seam treatments. That is something you mentioned in CQ Online and I now know why I'm dissappointed with some of my seams - they are lost - too insignificant thread and detail. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY DEAR for showing me the difference!!!
