Black CQ- blocks #7 & #9

Remember that pink bit in the middle of this block? Well, I am still not totally happy with it, but the bee adds a nice focal point. The body is done with bullion stitch. I think I had them a bit close together. I did all the black first, then the yellow inbetween. This block has also had the "unifying element" added. I will also add that the stitch is all in the same colour....
And here is block #9 complete. That butterfly stands out in the pic more than it does in reality, but the lace needed something to break it. Below is a detail shot of the vine.

Beautiful, Jo! That pink center really stands out; however, you have alot of strong pink motifs that will keep the eye moving around... I like it!
