I know......

....what you're thinking "Jo, don't you have kids to feed?" Well, yes I do. I chucked the chicken legs in the oven, tossed together a salad then whipped up this number while I waited for the chook to cook. It really is as easy as Emmy said it was. This is currently being embellished with herringbone stitch - gotta love the herringbone - and maybe some buttons. I don't think this piece will be big enough for a bag front, but it is great. I actually see them as incredibly cool placemats. Find some really funky fabric, a print and a plain, and I think they would be great. I know that Emmy used a satin type stitch over the seams, which is a prob, as my machine doesn't cooperate when it comes to anything other than straight stitch, but hey, I have been looking for a 'valid' excuse for a new machine!
