This is a sculpture I made at a workshop back in August. I really enjoyed doing this. It is something I have always wanted to do, but didn't think I would be very good at it. But I'm really pleased with the results. There is something extremely satisfying and calming about working with my hands in this kind of medium.
The design is based on a 'koru', a traditional Maori pattern. The 3 koru symbolise my three children.
