the PINK bag

This is a little bag I am making for my step daughter. It will be about the same size as Natty Girls bag, but I'm going to sew in a contrasting gusset.
I've photoed it on the black, because it is my intent to use black for this. The bag is pink and girly, but I also want it to look a little bit funky too. Shelby is turning 11 soon. My other thought was to use a lilac, the beaded trim is lilac, but I think this will look a bit too pretty.I have a lilac angel to sew on as well. She will go on the left side.
So, this is where you come in, avid readers - all 3 of you- do you have any suggestions??
