Blue CQ - seams #2, #3 ,#4 & #5

I am just going to show pictures of the completed seams. I figure if I ever get round to writing that book, some new information would probably be a good selling point. So, feel free to come up with your own versions of these seams, but how I actually achieve them - which stitches, in which order- will be a closely guarded secret, revealed only under threat of death...or a bloody good bribe!!

seam #2

seam #3

seam #4

seam #5

and the entire piece so far, with a seal of approval from Grasshopper.
The lighting is bad in some pics, but I am photographing as I complete different parts of the seams, so if the colours are funky, or a bit off, its because they are a bit off!

  6. Wow... beautiful seams, Jo! I love the way you have continued the seam treatment along a curve into the next block... very cool. Grasshopper is a pretty kitty. ;0)

  7. I love how the seams look all together - big sweeping seams of beautiful cq! Cat blends in nicely, too.

  8. Your work is absolutely stunning. I was the recipient of your needlecase in the needlecase swap a couple of years ago. I treasure it. And Grasshopper is like my Sierra. I have a female Orange Tabby who has to put her hair of approval on everything (she sheds like a banchy). Thanks for a lovely blog. Inspired me to make some ornaments - sue

  11. Nice seams! The whole thing is looking a bit "path-ish" - I like it a lot! My fave so far - seam #2, though I like seam #5, too, and I really like the way seam #3 shows up in the photo of the Whole Thing + Cat. Oh, I just like them all.
