Can you guess my new favourite stitch?? It's that stacked cretan. I haven't gravitated toward cretan in the past. It is a stitch I have found difficult to master. Not the doing of it, but the spacing and uniformity of it...but now I love it!
Here are the current creations.
The August GIVEAWAY!! (before August is over...I can't even believe August has started let alone being half way over!) Anywho, leave a comment on this post, and say which colour you would like if you win. I will draw when I remember!!
These still need backing, so it will look a little tidier when it gets to your door.
Happy commenting.
ps Dana...great to see you back !
I love the Blues! It's gorgeous!! Hope you're having a great weekend!

Wow - they are all very interesting to look at. I've not done Cretan stitch before, let along stacked Cretan. May be I should have a go after seeing these. If I am lucky enough to win the draw then please may I have the OLIVE one - the black stitching on the olive colours made that postcard really stand out.
ReplyDeleteJo I really like the look of the stacked Cretan stitch. I'll have to play around with it. I like them all! But if I had to choose one I guess it would be the blue one, no wait maybe the olive one. LOL too hard to choose just one!

ReplyDeleteOh, the Aqua/Teal one - when first I began crazyquilting my friend Suzette and I called ourselves "The Teal Sisters" because we always gravitated to that color. And you should SEE my closet! Pick me! Pick me! LOL
